Crystal Details: The colours of this crystal vary considerably and they are made up of a mixture of minerals. These are commonly yellow Calcite, brown Aragonite, white Baryte and grey Limestone or Chalcedony. The exact content depends on the minerals that make up the particular stone.

Hardness: On Mohs scale of mineral hardness - grade 3-4 (1 being softest, 10 being hardest)
Colour: Each piece is a mixture of colours and individual stones vary quite considerably. The common colours are combinations of yellow, brown, white and grey.
