Origin: Namibia

Crystal Details:  Sunset Sodalite forms in the veins of silica-poor igneous rocks such as Nepheline, Syenites and Phonolites. It is a combination of two silicate minerals, blue Sodalite and Oligoclase, an orange feldspar, also called Sunstone.

Also known as: Orange Sodalite.

Chemical Composition: Na8Al6Si6O24Cl2.

Hardness:  On Mohs scale of mineral hardness - grade 5.5-6 (1 being softest, 10 being hardest)

Colour:  Rich hues of blue, orange, and white mix so lovingly within these pieces
